Job Description

Our Internship Talent Programme is a paid, immersive 3-month opportunity to explore the breadth of options within the communications, advertising and media industry.

There are four roles for you to choose from:

  • Junior Copywriter at Publicis Communications: As a copywriter, you will create, refine and transform iconic concepts into prose, and work with local and global clients across advertising and production. You will collaborate with creative, account management and planning teams and our leadership to drive revolutionary projects from conception to completion.
  • Junior Art Director at Publicis Communications: If you have been described as a highly ambitious problem solver with a “good eye” for design, you will find yourself in good company. You will collaborate with creative, account management and planning teams and our leadership to drive revolutionary projects from conception to completion. (Note: for this role, strong knowledge and skills in complete range of Adobe Suite is a must)
  • Content Creator at Publicis Communications: Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for digital content? As a Content Creator Intern, you'll collaborate with our creative team to develop engaging content across various platforms. You'll gain hands-on experience in crafting narratives that resonate with our audience, helping us connect with our community in meaningful ways. If you have strong communication skills, a basic understanding of content creation tools, and a desire to learn and grow in the industry, we want to hear from you!
  • Account Executive at Publicis Communications: If you want to learn to finesse delicate client relationships while helping our agency to reach our potential, this is the job for you. Apart from honing your interpersonal and communication skills, you will learn to gather insights on brands and their competitors to improve our clients’ standings in their field.
  • Media Executive at Publicis Media: With an analytical spirit and a flair for numbers, you’ll become a master of media and tech research tools to work magic for real business impact. Get a kick out of optimising campaign assets, tracking performance and maximising ad spends to ensure our clients’ voices are heard in the ever-changing markets.

This programme is not a walk in the park - it is a “baptism of fire” which is designed to lead to a career with a renowned communications agency.

Expect some discomfort as you are introduced to the intricacies of the role and technical know-hows. Experience the real-world of media and advertising. Learn from industry pros. Gain skills, connections and exposure across essential agency functions. Participants can take advantage of various internal training resources and leverage on our diverse platforms to establish a solid foundation in the field.

Qualifications

  • Only fresh graduates or 3rd and 4th year university students with relevant degree / internship experience, and/or have less than two years of work experience may apply
  • Possess good communication and presentation skills
  • Resilient, curious, with a positive can-do attitude
  • Comfortable to thrive and adapt in an ever-evolving advertising landscape
  • Having the versatility to work independently while also being a dependable team player
  • Some roles will require after hours work and overnight traveling to shoots and post sessions

Programme Structure

Publicis Communications: As a Junior Copywriter, Junior Art Director or Account Executive, you will spend the first three months working closely with the local client team before taking your talents to the global stage as you join the global client team for the next three months.

Publicis Media: As a Media Executive, you will begin by spending the first three months with the Media Planning team, mastering the art of strategic media placement, before delving into the world of data-driven advertising and automation with the Programmatic team for the next three months. 

For all roles, you will move into your designated teams in the final six months of the programme, where you will continue to gain valuable skills and insights solving real problems for clients.
