THE ROLE:
We are seeking a
QA Lead to join our team in Bellevue, WA.

- You have an advanced knowledge of game testing methodologies, emphasizing long-term sustainable testing plans.
- You have an expert-level understanding of bug-tracking software.
- You have a strong familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages.
- You have a proven ability to own QA for multiple features/projects.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Write test plans, test specs, and test cases.
- Utilize test tools such as bug databases and test case management software.
- Track and report quality metrics to provide an accurate status of project quality.
- Build and manage a QA team, working on a project using Unreal Engine.
- Act as a leader on the project team, including team building, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and decision-making.
- Provide insight and guidance on creating, maintaining, and improving QA tools and processes.
- Maintain a strong culture of quality and mutual respect with partner development teams.
- Use discretion when working with confidential, proprietary information between groups.
- Manage QA activities to test for functionality and integrity of pre-released and released versions of software.
- Implements testing policies, procedures, and standards.
- Lead interactions with internal users to acquire and exchange information on QA issues and processes.
- Manage project teams, including team building, conflict resolutions, stakeholder management, and decision-making for QA.
- Mentor and grow the QA team and craft, which may include hiring as needed.
- Oversees the QA team's schedules, priorities, and guidance to facilitate successful releases.
- Manages quality risks and provides mitigation plans.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience working with the Unreal Engine.
- Experience driving the creation of functional client automation.
- Experience working in the GAS/Live game model.
- Experience leading the Test effort for at least one AAA game.
- Experience managing game testing released on multiple platforms.
- Experience leading QA teams.
- Experience managing Tests for game projects with long-term sustainment plans.
- Experience working directly with game development teams.

Compensation:
- This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-exempt position.
- The full salary range for this position is $81,000 - $119,000. When an offer is made, many factors are considered, such as your unique experience and skills, where you live, where the work will be performed, what similar jobs pay, internal equity, and what you're looking for.
- In addition to base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for additional incentives, such as a sign-on bonus and short- and long-term incentives. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
