Job Description
This project focuses on quantum sensors for precise magnetic field and temperature measurements. The goal is to explore the potential of quantum sensors, potentially to improve or replace GPS positioning by accurately measuring the Earth's magnetic field. The project involves summarizing the theory behind quantum sensors, identifying and specifying key components for building them, and ultimately enabling the modeling of a quantum sensor system using Matlab/Simulink or a similar modeling tool.

Job Details
Quantum sensors have high potential when it comes to very accurate and absolute measurements of magnetic field and temperature. Possibly a quantum sensor can be used to measure the earth magnetic field very accurately, and therefore has the promise to replace or add to GPS positioning. In this project the theory of a quantum sensor will be summarized, important components to build a quantum sensor will be identified and specified, in order to enable modelling of a quantum sensor system in Matlab/Simulink (or an alternative modelling tool).
