Regional Implementation Excellence & Governance Manager
Purpose:
Lead and manage multiple small to large scale FbM implementation projects from opportunity to launch. Proactively collaborate with internal project resources and customers to execute projects through effective internal and external project communications. Develop detailed project plan, resource management, project budget financial tracking, and timely project status reporting to key stakeholders using the standardised global framework. Creating development plans to increase the project management quality, controlling the project pipeline for resource planning and managing the pilot runs of the new initiatives for the IMEA region.
Job Responsibilities:
Project Organization and Planning
•Develop a clear Project Charter for approval with an understanding of the Customers / Internal’ needs for each Project based on the Solutions signed off by the Customer/internal stakeholders.
•Drive the on-site setup and establish key operational processes readiness before Operations Go Live with internal stakeholders and Customers. It includes storage solution setup, WMS (Warehouse Management System), TMS, WCS , Business Requirements, Procurement, Testing, Recruitment, external vendors and Operational KPI activities.
•Develops and maintains project plans to include all systemic, operational, and customer requirements. Drives the tasks to ensure that each project is completed promptly and meets the company and customer expectations using the global framework
Project Execution & Communication
•Manages multiple projects concurrently and reaches out to the appropriate decision-makers and task owners on time to keep tasks on track. Actively seeks to avoid delays to project progress by facilitating regular meetings to review project progress, open issues and risk logs with project team members.
•Provide clear project communication and publish timely weekly project status reports to all stakeholders.
•Monitor and control the project with scope change approval and timely tracking of the financial budget to ensure the project is delivered on schedule.
•Adopt Maersk Project Implementation methodology, toolkits and templates to implement projects to provide clear project visibility for Global Metrics reporting and performance measurement.
Organization and Planning
•Guide area implementation managers who are driving the projects driving quality and compliance improvements
•Develop and retain skilled implementation managers for the area
Execution & Communication
•Provide clear visibility of project status to internal and external stakeholders, remove roadblocks and impediments to meet timelines and customer requirements.
•Assist in reviewing and improving the implementation methodology including, but not limited to project planning, stakeholder management and project execution.
Regional Implementation Excellence
•Managing the project pipeline through LTF process and defining the risks for resource availability and preparing contingency plans.
•Controlling quality of the project management tools ( GCSL,GCSD, Asana) and preparing the improvement plans to execute with Area Head of Implementations.
•Managing the new framework launches with the Areas and collecting the feedback from the pilot runs to share with CEN Implementation Excellence Partner for continuous improvement.
Critical competencies
•Bachelor's degree or Ten (10) years of relevant PM experience; or a combination of education and experience.
•Display leadership, inspires respect and trust; mobilizes others to achieve project objectives.
•High energy and self-starter. Ability to operate independently and convey a sense of urgency.
•Contract Logistics/Warehousing operations know-how, preferably at least 5 years relevant working experience in a warehouse.
•PMP or similar project management training or certification is highly desirable
•Must have excellent communication skills; written, verbal and presentation.
•Requires advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio and Word
