We are seeking an experienced Sales Data Research Specialist to support our outbound marketing and sales teams. In this role, you will be responsible for researching and gathering detailed company and decision-maker information using a variety of data mining tools. Your work will be instrumental in providing critical data that the lead generation and sales teams will use to conduct highly personalized outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Data Collection & Research:
- Use data plaƞorms such as Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism, SalesIntel, and LeadIQ to identify key decision-makers and gather relevant company information.
- Collect essential contact details, including emails, phone numbers, LinkedIn profiles, and work histories, to support personalized sales outreach efforts.
- Research detailed organizational hierarchies and find pertinent insights about company structures and decision-makers to help the lead generation team craft tailored messaging.
2. Data Validation & Accuracy:
- Validate all collected data for accuracy using tools like Hunter.io for email verification and Never Bounce to ensure that contact details are up-to-date.
- Continuously maintain and update the CRM system (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho CRM) with validated and enriched data.
- Ensure that all leads are correctly categorized by industry, company size, and region, following specific segmentation guidelines.
3. Data Enrichment:
- Enrich lead data by identifying missing information, such as finding additional contacts at target companies, researching past interactions, and including data on corporate structures.
- Utilize enrichment tools like Clearbit and InsideView to add detailed financials, employee numbers, and company technographics, enabling more strategic targeting of prospects.
4. Database Management & Integration:
- Work within the company’s CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM) to integrate researched data seamlessly into ongoing sales campaigns.
- Regularly clean and enrich the CRM database by adding newly found prospects, removing outdated records, and ensuring all entries meet the lead generation team’s criteria.
5. Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Teams:
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to understand their data needs and ensure that you deliver accurate and actionable insights.
- Present data-driven reports and findings to sales and marketing teams, detailing new opportunities and potential leads, as well as highlighting key contacts for outreach.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, data analytics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data research, data mining, or lead generation in a B2B seƫting.
- Strong expertise in using data tools such as Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism, SalesIntel, LeadIQ, and Clearbit.
- Experience with CRM systems like HubSpot, Salesforce or Zoho CRM for data management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing large datasets.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with sales and marketing teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in B2B industries such as healthcare, finance, or technology.
- Experience with email verification and data validation tools like Hunter.io and NeverBounce.
- Strong analytical skills to derive insights from the data and suggest new opportunities.
