About the job:
As a Security Architect Intern, you will help develop and oversee on-premise and cloud computing strategies for our customers, as well as responding to on-premises and cloud-related breaches. You will create and support a productive and innovative team, including working with peers, managers, and teams. You will also provide guidance on building and/or maturing cybersecurity architectures and the implementation of tools and technologies used for enterprise security. You will evaluate cloud solutions, coordinate design for a solution, and clearly communicate the value proposition of complex and highly technical subjects. You will also develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within customer accounts, including technical and business decision-makers.
Must have:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related fields
  • Experience in security architectures for cloud computing
  • Experience in cyber security domains
Good to have:
  • Experience working in zero trust, security assessments, compliance, or similar
  • Familiar with fundamentals of cloud computing, operating systems, e.g., Linux

Minimum qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree or post secondary or training experience with a focus on subjects in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or other related fields.
  • Experience in security architectures for cloud computing.
  • Experience in cyber security domains.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Currently attending a degree program in the US and available to work full time for 12-14 weeks outside of university term time.
  • Penultimate academic year or returning to a degree program after completion of the internship.
  • Experience working in zero trust, security assessments, compliance, or similar.
  • Familiar with fundamentals of cloud computing, operating systems, e.g., Linux.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000-$113,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
