As a Security Sales Specialist at Google Cloud, you'll focus on retention and expansion sales, maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers in Italy. You'll work to deliver business value, demonstrate product functionality, and provide comprehensive business overviews. Responsibilities include driving pipeline, managing renewal cycles, expanding the customer base, promoting security products, exceeding quarterly goals, increasing customer engagement, building campaigns and testimonials, and serving as a subject matter expert to internal and external teams. This role requires fluent English and Italian communication skills and strong cross-functional collaboration abilities. You will be working with clients in the enterprise cybersecurity or IT field.
Must have:
  • 7+ years experience in sales or customer facing role in enterprise software/cloud
  • Experience selling to enterprise cybersecurity/IT clients
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Drive pipeline, manage renewals, expand customer base
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Good to have:
  • Experience working cross-functionally with account teams, technical leads, procurement, and legal
  • Experience building long-term executive relationships
  • Knowledge of market trends in cloud and cybersecurity
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in renewals, account management, sales, or a customer facing role in the enterprise software or cloud space.
  • Experience selling to clients in the enterprise cybersecurity or IT field.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Italian fluently to work with customers in Italy.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working cross-functionally, including account teams, technical leads, procurement, and legal, to inventory software estate, build business cases for transformation and implementation plans, and close agreement.
  • Experience building and maintaining long-term executive relationships, ensuring customer success, adoption and expansion.
  • Experience securing and growing customer bases, and business goals in a sales role.
  • Experience prioritizing, planning, and solution-based sales activity within business cycles.
  • Knowledge of market trends, products, and solutions in cloud and cybersecurity.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, presentation, agreements, and active listening skills.

As a Security sales specialist, you will be focused on retention and expansion sales. You will help the cybersecurity business by maintaining and growing relationships with our existing customer base. You will work with customers to deliver true business value, demonstrate product functionality and provide a comprehensive overview of key business. You will plan day-to-day relationships with cross-functional team members and external customers, while identifying omit ways to impact the team as a whole to drive overall value for Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Drive pipeline, manage renewal cycles, and expand the customer base, promoting security products and solutions to new groups inside existing customer organizations while delivering or exceeding against quarterly business and growth goals.
  • Increase engagement and experience for customers and prospects, building scalable and reference able campaigns and testimonials alongside the Program Management team to maximize your territory.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with customers, collaborating long-term omit direction and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert to the field organization and cross-functional teams, sharing practices and improving product.
