Job Description

Senior Ab Initio Consultant - Architect needed for International Regulatory Reporting Data Preparation project focusing on Netherlands AnaCredit and other European regulatory reporting. The role involves migrating a legacy data source, enrichment, transform, and pipeline to the Ab Initio platform. Responsibilities include setting up new environments and instances, developing, testing, analyzing, and designing applications using Ab Initio software products; preparing deployment and configuration scripts; troubleshooting and providing second-line support; performance tuning and code optimization; and mentoring junior developers. The ideal candidate will have extensive Ab Initio experience in a financial services environment and proficiency in various Ab Initio products (GDE, Control Centre, Express IT, Co>Operating System, Conduct>IT, Enterprise Meta>Environment, Continuous>Flows), along with strong SQL, MySQL, and Unix skills. Agile experience and Jira familiarity are also required.

Must have:

12+ years Ab Initio exp in Financial Services
Proficient in Ab Initio tools (GDE, Control Centre etc.)
Expert in Oracle SQL, MySQL, Unix
Deployment & maintenance of Ab Initio code
Excellent communication & analytical skills
Agile project experience & Jira familiarity

Good to have:

Understanding of Financial products
Knowledge of Capital Markets and Treasury Products

Project description

International Regulatory Reporting Data Preparation. The platform development is required for the upcoming change for Netherlands AnaCredit Reporting and other European regulatory reporting. The current Data Source, enrichment, transform and pipeline exists in legacy setup, which needs to be moved to AbInitio platform.

Responsibilities

Seeking a strong AbInitio experience in the following key areas:

This is an SME Consultant role for Ab Initio Platform

Should be hands-on with setting up new environments and instances

Development, testing, analysis, and design applications using AbInitio software products.

Preparation of deployment and configuration scripts within the delivery channel including Production

Troubleshooting and second-line support of Production application

Performance tuning and code optimization

Mentoring junior developers

Skills

Must have

Minimum 12 Years of experience working as an AbInitio developer in the financial services industry

Proven track record of delivery with Ab Initio software

Should be Proficient in using the Ab Initio products:

GDE

Control Centre

Express>IT (BRE)

Co>Operating System

Conduct>It

Enterprise Meta>Environment(EME)

Continuous>Flows

Good level of expertise in Oracle SQL, My SQL, and Unix (Putty)

Proficient in deployment and maintenance of AbInitio code

Excellent communication & analytical skills

Good stakeholder management, coordination & collaboration skills

Good experience working on Agile projects & familiarity with JIRA

Creative/innovative thinker

Nice to have

Understanding of Financial products

Knowledge of Capital Markets and Treasury Products
