SAP FICO Consultant (US Citizen or Perm Resident req)
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the SAP FICO modules. Here are some common duties and responsibilities for this role. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in SAP FICO and contribute to delivering impactful business insights.
 
Experience
  • 3-6 years of SAP experience preferred.
  • At least 3 years of SAP Finance experience required.
Responsibilities 
  • System Configuration: Assist in the development and maintenance of the SAP FICO system configuration.
  • Testing: Create, execute, and document the results of system tests.
  • Reporting: Support the development of SAP FICO reports as per business requirements.
  • Business Analysis: Assist in the analysis of business processes and propose improvements.
  • Troubleshooting: Help in troubleshooting and resolving SAP FICO issues raised by end users.
  • Training: Support the preparation of training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data within the SAP FICO system.
  • Project Participation: Participate in the development of SAP FICO project plans and schedules.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and database management is a plus.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of SAP FICO modules and their integration with other modules.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Learning Ability: Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
Business Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to communicate with others clearly and concisely.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suites including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to do research and perform detailed tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Aptitude for working in a team environment; problem-solving skills, creative thinking, communicating clearly and empathetically, strong time management, and ability to collaborate with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to explain ideas and concepts to other project team members and to client personnel.
General Skills
  • Completes assignments within budget, meets project deadlines, makes and keeps sensible commitments to client and team.
  • Meets billing efficiency targets, and complies with all administrative responsibilities in a timely & effective manner.
  • Keeps project management appraised of project direction and client concerns.
  • Completes project documentation, demonstrates effective organizational skills, with minimal supervision.
  • Meets quality standards, correctly prioritizes own activities in accordance with project plan and budget.
  • Provides project team leaders with updates on the progress and difficulties encountered and provides value-added insight and understanding.
  • Demonstrates the ability to accomplish project assignments resulting in quality service.
This role requires travel.
