About the Role
As a Workday Application Analyst at Highspot you’ll primarily focus on supporting our Workday HRIS platform with Integrations and Reporting with the ability to also support functional HCM work as needed. You will also have the opportunity to build integrations using our IPaaS solution Workato. You have experience building and maintaining integrations within Workday including RaaS, inbound and outbound EIBs, Workday Cloud Connect Integrations, custom integrations, OAuth, and Studio integrations. You understand Workday data structure and reporting capabilities and you can build reports that support integrations as well as build and maintain business reports using the full suite of reporting and dashboard tools. Having experience with new implementations with a track record of continuous improvement in hyper-growth companies is a huge plus. Embracing change management, documentation, and supporting our amazing HR/Finance/Recruiting and Analytics teams will be paramount to success. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, project management skills, and a proven ability to drive change cross-functionally. 

Responsibilities

    • Create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment life-cycle. 
    • Monitor scheduled integrations and develop automated management processes. 
    • Research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, and report back to management and business leaders. Develop plans to mitigate and avoid future system issues. 
    • Build and maintain Workato Integrations. 
    • Manage the current reporting library as well as create new reports and dashboards that can be leveraged and scaled across the business. 
    • Provide best practices as it relates to reporting and managing the reporting library.
    • Cross functional partnership is key to success, you must speak HR and partner to drive changes and improvements across the platform. 
    • Maintain integration and report security, user access, roles, and rights for a clean auditable environment. 
    • Create and maintain documentation of the integrations and reports.

Required Qualifications

    • 4+ years of experience in a Workday Administrative/Analyst/Developer role building and maintaining integrations, reports and configuring HCM.
    • Experience with SOAP and REST APIs, including authentication mechanisms, and proficiency with XML, JSON.
    • Extensive experience building complex reports using the full suite of reporting tools.
    • Experience building and maintaining all types of Workday integrations including Cloud Connect, Inbound and Outbound EIBs, RaaS, and custom integration systems.
    • Experience creating multiple layers of calc fields as needed for reporting/integration purposes.
    • Experience building and maintaining Studio integrations.
    • Experience with Workato or other IPaaS solutions a plus but not required.
    • Experience with Discovery Boards a plus but not required.
    • Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with various audiences.
    • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative, cross-team environment.
    • Willing to work a schedule that allows at least 4 hours of overlap with a 9-5 PST work schedule.
