Senior Electronics Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer with experience in embedded systems and programming for a project in the automotive and industrial domains. Our client is a global automotive components manufacturer. They manufacture auto parts like engine components, hybrid systems, climate control, instrument clusters, airbags, radar systems, and spark plugs. They also produce non-automotive items such as household heating equipment and industrial robots.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct analytical research to identify the best technical solutions.
• Engage in discussions with the client.
• Design PCBs using Altium Designer.
• Work on routing high-current lines, analog and digital signal lines, and interfaces such as CAN and USB Type-C.
• Develop over 10 types of individual PCBs that will be integrated into a unified technical equipment complex.

Requirements:

• C/C++: At least 4 years of experience in programming for microcontrollers and embedded systems.
• Python: Experience in scripting and prototyping.
• Hands-on experience with STM32, ESP32, and NXP microcontrollers.
• Expertise in Ethernet, CAN, LIN, WiFi, Bluetooth, and Zigbee.
• PCB Design: Over 5 years of experience, with proficiency in Altium Designer.
• Experience in component base analysis and preparation of BOM.
• Ability to analyze alternatives and propose optimal technical solutions.
• Collaboration with manufacturers during production preparation.
• Building and configuring Embedded Linux from source repositories.
• Preparing bootloaders and ensuring proper system startup.
• Optimizing environments for deploying and running embedded applications.
• Strong experience in testing and debugging software, hardware, and circuit schematics.
• Proficiency in debugging tools for microcontrollers, communication interfaces, and hardware validation.
• Experience in structured testing for regulated industries, such as Automotive, following standards like ISO 26262.
• Familiarity with HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) testing setups.
• Competency in test case traceability and compliance with industry safety regulations.
• Understanding of Automotive SPICE and validation processes for safety-critical systems.
• Proven background in Automotive, Healthcare, Industrial, or Mining projects.
• English: Upper Intermediate (for client communication and documentation).
• Ukrainian: Fluent (for internal team collaboration).
• Higher technical education in Electronics, Automation, or Computer Science.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Simulink/MATLAB and ROS2. 
• Familiarity with Infineon MCU/CPU and SoC platforms (e.g., AMD Zynq).
• Experience with QNX OS and AUTOSAR (Classic and Adaptive).
• Proficiency in Rust for embedded applications.
• Knowledge of advanced sensors such as LiDAR, Radar, and Cameras.
• Solid understanding of Control Theory and its applications.
