We are looking for an experienced Real-time VFX Artist to join the team working on Mech Arena, our mobile third-person MMO shooter in a stylized sci-fi setting.
Mech Arena is focused on both teamplay in battles and developing individual Mechs, Weapons, and Pilots. The player’s goal is to build teams of Mechs that can excel in Arena combat, and compete for top placement in leaderboards and tournaments. The game is available on , , and .
The team works in Unity. 80% of effects are created on the basis of existing resources, but 20% of them are unique textures and shaders.

Creating real-time VFX in Unity for a variety of mobile game elements including , , and , and creating UI visual effects
Using internal tools to collate and review completed VFX work, and checking related settings
At least 2 years of experience creating real-time VFX
Experience working in Unity
Experience working on mobile projects and optimizing visual effects for them
Extensive experience working with Amplify Shader Editor or a similar graph-based shader editor
Experience working with prefabs in Unity as well as configuring additional scripts and elements
Experience working with animation in Unity
Experience working with version control systems
Experience creating textures in Substance Designer
