Senior Flutter Engineer

N-iX is looking for a motivated Senior Flutter Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications
• Write readable, testable, functional, and high-performant code
• Refactor existing code and create documentation for the same
• Participate and take responsibility for all stages of the  mobile app development life cycle
• Guide in the preparation and production of software components
• Ensure designs comply with specifications
• Explore alternatives and new technologies for architectural review to ensure continuous improvement
• Monitor and mentor more junior engineers with the latest programming languages and technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of professional experience in mobile software development (we allow rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
• Previous experience in developing iOS and/or Android apps with Flutter
• Knowledge of application deployment on AppStore, Google Play, or Github
• Strong understanding of third-party libraries and APIs
• Hands-on experience with automated testing and building
• Expertise in version control tools including Git, Jenkins, etc.
• Significant expertise in mobile development life cycle
• Fluency in the English language for effective communication
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week), ideally with a 4-hour overlap with US time zones

Skills:

• Experience in working with Firebase Storage, Firestore, and Analytics
• Knowledge of general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and new technologies
• Previous experience with education, notetaking or scanning applications is a plus
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
