Title: Senior Manager, Career and Talent Management

Team: The People & Culture team (known as Human Resources in other firms) is the steward of Morningstar’s unique culture. We design and deliver the end-to-end programs and experiences that support the development and wellbeing of our employees.
Role: The complexity and importance of our career development programs, including flagship MDP Program (Morningstar Development Program), necessitates enhanced leadership to drive its next phase of growth-reimagination of early career programs. The current team has established a solid foundation, the program requires a more strategic developmental focus to ensure it not only fosters skills for current roles but also promotes career pathing route. The Senior Manager will be responsible for career transformation programs for both employees and managers within the business and work closely with Head of Talent Management on TM strategies.
A Senior Manager with a robust background in talent management and career programs is essential to reimagine the MDP and introduce career solutions to align it with our broader organizational objectives and stakeholder needs. A novel perspective and vision of customizing and implementing career programs and talent management practices at a regional landscape will be required to make such reimaging OKR a resounding success.
Responsibilities:
Bring advanced talent management expertise to create a strategic roadmap for career development.
Lead in designing career programs and implement a robust developmental framework.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the program with broader organizational objectives.
Implement metrics to track the long-term success and impact of the regional career programs.
Outcomes to expect/achieve.
Enhanced quality, impact, and scope of the career programs, ensuring comprehensive career development for early and mid-career talents.
Influence and deliver mid-career and job rotation programs to promote diversity and talent mobility.
Strengthen talent pipeline, leading to increased retention and engagement of early career professionals.
Improved alignment of the program with Morningstar’s OKR driving success
Qualifications:
Masters’s degree or equivalent post-secondary degree in HR Management, Psychology or Management Consulting
10-15 years of HR experience across Talent Management, and business partnering, and/or people management experience
Good understanding of Investment Management business and related industry trends
Passion for employee career development and growing early career talent.
Experience with program management or implementing organization wide career programs.
Excellent communication skills that can vary to reach audiences at all levels of the organization.
Experience working across global teams a plus.
