Role-Game developer
Locations-Mumbai,pune,Gurgaon,Chennai,Banglore,Coimbatore
Type-Contract (3 months-6 months)
Responsibilities
Develop interactive and engaging games using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Implement mathematics algorithms for collision detection and physics simulations.
Collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to create game mechanics
and features.
Optimize game performance for different platforms and devices.
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to junior developers.
Research and implement emerging game development technologies and techniques.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Experience integrating game environments with back-end systems and APIs (nice-to-
have)
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field.
Relevant coursework in Mathematics for Game Developers and Physics for Game
Developers.
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Strong understanding of game development principles and best practices.
Excellent mathematics skills for game development, including collision detection
algorithms, physics simulations for velocity and motion, vector and matrix operations,
and trigonometry and calculus for game mechanics.
Experience with game engines/frameworks such as Phaser, CreateJS or similar
Good understanding CSS3 and JS Animation frameworks like Greenshok /
AnimJS to support 2D game development
Knowledge of software engineering principles and design patterns.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development
workflows.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Effective communication and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
Experience
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a JavaScript Game Developer or similar role.
Demonstrated experience in developing interactive games using JavaScript, HTML5,
and CSS3.
Experience implementing mathematics algorithms for collision detection and physics
simulations.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous game development projects.
