Coffee Stain Studios seeks an experienced Senior Producer to oversee project planning, drive production processes, and ensure on-schedule deliveries for current and future development. Responsibilities include supporting team well-being, proactively managing production, owning feature content planning and quality, and communicating project status, risks, and opportunities. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of game development experience (PC preferred), proficiency in project tracking software (Jira or Monday), and strong communication and interpersonal skills. They should be comfortable managing cross-disciplinary teams and handling challenging situations.

Coffee Stain Studios is the largest team under the Coffee Stain brand, where our journey began back in 2010. We've recently launched Satisfactory 1.0, after a highly successful Early Access period with over 6 million copies sold.

Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Senior Producer to join our team! As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing project planning, driving production processes, ensuring on-schedule deliveries. You will have the opportunity to work in a team that encourages individual responsibility and close collaboration. Supporting a healthy work environment for our team, so they can shine and deliver their best work!

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of project planning for current and future development, including planning project milestones and maintaining clear roadmaps
  • Support the team to ensure they have a healthy and positive work experience, allowing them to focus on doing their best
  • Proactively drive production processes and ensure on-schedule deliveries
  • Own and drive feature content in terms of planning and quality, ensuring each element contributes to our immersive gaming experience
  • Communicate frequently with producers and team leadership regarding project status, risks, and opportunities
  • Provide ongoing risk assessments to production and team leadership regarding project hazards and bottlenecks regarding game schedule and quality

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in game development (PC preferred)
  • Good understanding of tracking software such as Jira or Monday
  • Experience supporting teams in solving interpersonal challenges
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Self-sufficient, not afraid to take the initiative to solve unknowns or tackle difficult situations

Key Qualifications

  • Excited to work in a diverse, dynamic, and creative environment
  • Strong understanding of game development processes and methodologies, including Agile/Scrum
  • Familiar with key project KPIs such as budget adherence, development milestones, quality metrics, and team productivity
  • Proficient in the English language (as it is an English-speaking work environment)
  • Experience managing cross-disciplinary teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience with technically challenging projects
  • Good understanding of porting and its dependencies
  • Experience with PC & Console development and their pipelines
  • Good understanding of Steam and Epic Back end and processes.

We offer relocation help for this position.

Practical info

The position is permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week on-site.

You will spend the majority of your worktime at our office on Hertig Johans gata in Skövde, but it´s okay to work from home from time to time.

At our office we have a casual workplace environment including bicycle parking, our own amazing in-office gym, game and chill-out zones. There are also plenty in-office hangouts and parties. 

You’ll be working with a friendly team that consists of both Swedish and International people. We get plenty of self-development opportunities – tutorials, creative time, participation in various industry conferences and events. 

Our office is constantly supplied with breakfasts, snacks, fruits, tea and coffee to keep your energy up. 

Coffee Stain Studios is part of a family of several studios, creating a network of over a hundred talented game creators. We talk, throw parties, and support each other professionally. Coffee Stain Studios is a game development house founded in 2010 in Skövde, Sweden. With the success of Sanctum, Sanctum 2, Goat Simulator and now working on Satisfactory. The Coffee Stain brand now also encompasses a publishing arm (Coffee Stain Publishing), Coffee Stain North (Stockholm based studio, previously Gone North Games) and has kick started the “A Levelled Playing Field” initiative to combat gender inequality in the games industry.
