Summary

As Product Owner for theHunter: Call of the Wild's New Revenue Group, you will define the strategy, KPIs, and frameworks for new revenue generation. Responsibilities include owning the roadmap and backlog, conducting post-ship analysis for optimization and learning, leading a cross-disciplinary team, and collaborating closely with producers and developers. You will leverage data, analytics, and market trends to explore opportunities, from price adjustments to new content types, and pioneer new business models. The role requires extensive experience in product management or finance within the gaming industry, along with a deep understanding of monetization strategies and Agile/Lean development.
Must have:
  • Extensive product management or finance experience
  • Gaming industry experience
  • P&L management, roadmap creation, and requirements definition
  • Full product lifecycle experience (goal setting, execution, tracking)
  • Cross-team collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Clear communication of outcomes, user stories, and requirements
  • Deep understanding of video game monetization
  • Agile/Lean software development knowledge

We are looking for a product owner to lead our New Revenue Group, on theHunter:Call of the Wild. As the product owner, you’ll get to define the space from scratch and partner closely with internal stakeholders, managing the relationships and expectations, to deliver successful and resonant new content to our players. You’ll mix audience and game knowledge with emerging market trends to level up the revenue discipline in our organization and pioneer new business models and content. In this role, you’ll report to the overall game product director.  


What you’ll do?

  • Define the space, strategies, KPIs and frameworks for new revenue generation on our live title theHunter:Call of the Wild
  • Own a high level roadmap and backlog, based on data, analytics, past experiences and insights, that broadly explores new revenue opportunities, from price adjustments to new content types
  • Conduct post-ship analysis that drive tactical optimization and broad organizational learning around monetization
  • Bring together a cross-disciplinary leadership team in collectively delivering on the feature backlog and KPIs
  • Closely collaborate with the Producer and Developers within the New Revenue Group, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness

Who you are?

  • Extensive experience in either product management or finance
  • Experience working in the gaming industry
  • Managed or contributed to a P&L, product roadmaps and product requirements
  • Experience with the full product loop; goal setting, execution and success tracking
  • Experience driving collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Being able to clearly express desired outcomes, user stories and requirements in a prioritized backlog based on player value and ROI
  • Deep engagement with video games in general and subsequent knowledge of monetization strategies and tactics
  • Enjoys uncertainty, has strong drive and motivation to create and lead
  • Experience with and knowledge of Agile and Lean software development
