Job Description
Xsolla's AFS team seeks a detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer for their anti-fraud efforts. Responsibilities include collaborating on design and planning for testability, designing comprehensive test scenarios, writing and executing functional and integration tests, automating testing procedures, and selecting appropriate testing tools and methodologies. The ideal candidate possesses at least 3 years of software testing experience using various methodologies (functional, regression, performance), proficiency in CI systems, version control (Git), automated testing principles, gRPC and REST APIs, microservice architecture, SQL, and strong communication skills. Experience with test automation frameworks and UNIX-like command-line tools is a plus. The role requires managing multiple tasks, adapting to shifting priorities, and collaborating effectively within a fast-paced environment.
Must have:

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborating in the design and planning phases to ensure testability and quality.
- Designing comprehensive test scenarios to validate product functionality.
- Writing and executing functional and integration tests to ensure system reliability.
- Automating testing procedures to streamline and enhance test efficiency.
- Identifying and selecting the most suitable testing tools and methodologies for the project needs.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3 years of experience in software testing, utilizing various testing methodologies (e.g., functional, regression, performance).
- Ability to create comprehensive and clear test documentation.
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration (CI) systems to streamline development and testing workflows.
- Proficient in using version control systems (e.g., Git) for efficient code management and collaboration.
- Strong understanding of automated testing principles and best practices.
- Experience with gRPC and REST APIs for integration and communication between services.
- Deep familiarity with microservice architecture and its implementation challenges.
- Solid database knowledge, including proficiency in SQL for effective data validation and querying.
- Additional expertise in test automation frameworks and command-line tools in UNIX-like operating systems is a plus, along with basic knowledge of JavaScript.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English, with strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
