Requirements and responsibilities
As a key member of the application development team, this individual will be responsible for leading the technical development and support for internal web applications supporting our business.
What you’ll do:
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture
- Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Review and debug code
- Perform validation and verification testing
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
- Document development phases and monitor systems
- Ensure software is up to date with latest technologies
- Must have skills: JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js, Spring Boot, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, MongoDB, Kafka, DevOps
- Good to have skills:Vue.js, Angular, AWS Lambda, Astronomer.io, GraphQL,
What you’ll bring:
- 4+ years in Java J2EE building web applications.
- Experience with related frameworks and technologies (Hibernate, Restful services Spring JDBC, MVC etc.)
- 2+ years of experience in UI development using Angular JS, JQuery, Javascript, HTML5 & CSS.
- Significant knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and SQL.
- Experience with Oracle Web logic, Tomcat to include installation, configuration, trouble-shooting.
- Experience with API management and Cloud-based platforms and services (AWS, Google).
- Working knowledge of Dev-Ops: Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, etc.
- Understanding of Test Driven Development practices as well as Automation and Unit Testing.
- Strong Analytical Skills.
- Experience Architecting and developing large scale Enterprise applications.
- Experienced in agile development methodology.
- Any experience in building applications for financial industry is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Candidates without Computer Science or Information
- Technology degree should have significant work experience.
