Server System Engineer (Consumer, PC, Mobile) (MMORPG)

As an application engineer for the MMO title "FINAL FANTASY XIV", you will be involved in the development of game support features and companion app features that utilize game data. Specific tasks include designing, implementing, and testing APIs, designing, implementing, and testing batch processing and jobs, setting up, adjusting, and maintaining web servers and related middleware, developing features using Google Kubernetes Engine and Google Cloud services, and developing and operating internal tools to support work efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in the backend development of a large-scale game title, gain experience in providing services and functions that connect users, games, and teams, and challenge yourself with the design and development of containerized systems in a cloud-native environment using Google Cloud.
