Social Media Manager

Position Overview:
In this role, the Social Media Manager will play a pivotal part in developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals. This position requires a blend of creativity, strategic planning, and analytical skills to drive brand engagement and expand the online community.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a social media strategy across major platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Facebook.
• Plan, create, and schedule engaging content that embodies the organization’s mission and brand voice.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to continuously optimize strategies for greater reach and engagement.
• Interact with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to produce high-quality creative assets.
• Stay informed on social media trends and incorporate innovative strategies to enhance digital presence.
• Perform basic design and editing tasks to ensure content quality and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in social media management, preferably in a startup or fast-moving work environment.
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, including proofreading.
• Basic proficiency in design and editing tools for minor content creation adjustments.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimize strategies.
• Ability to adapt and manage occasional off-hours emergencies when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with video editing and production is a plus.
• Familiarity with educational content and mission-driven brands is an asset.
• Proven experience in YouTube management.
