Responsibilities
- Perform trade-off studies and system engineering plans.
- Conduct effectiveness analyses and risk management activities.
- Manage configuration, interfaces, and data management for assigned programs.
- Review, assess, and advise on the adequacy of the OEM’s engineering analysis, design, and testing documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA), including standards like Ground Combat Systems Common Infrastructure Architecture (GCIA).
- Maximize use of a Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) environment as applicable to programs.
- Participate in software and vehicle testing, design analysis, and simulations.
- Review data deliverables with an understanding of the entire software system across the vehicle.
- Provide written input on planning and management of software development, integration, and acquisition activities
Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- A Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited program in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from a college or university.
- Total of 5 years experience in development software architecture artifacts for DoD systems including a combination of:
- Experience in development of U.S. military ground vehicle systems; and
- Experience in developing and documenting software architectures using Unified Modeling Language.
