As a Software Engineer Intern, you will contribute to the development and support of Telerik or Kendo UI products and assist the developer community in building applications. You will work with .NET, Blazor, ASP.NET Core MVC, ASP.NET Core Web, and JavaScript stacks, including Angular, HTML, and CSS. This role involves collaborating with teams like Product Management, Product Marketing, and UI/UX Designers, implementing new functionalities, writing clean code, participating in code reviews, documenting the software product, writing tests, and being part of a scrum team. This internship offers a chance to contribute to cutting-edge content management systems like Sitefinity.

Must have:

Pursuing a bachelor's/master's in CS or related field.
Knowledge of OOP, data structures and algorithms.
Programming knowledge in C# and JavaScript.
Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Very good written and spoken English.

Good to have:

Previous technical internship.
Online courses and/or holding certifications.

As a Software Engineer Intern you will have the chance to contribute to the development and ongoing support of our industry leading Telerik or Kendo UI products and help our 4M+ strong developer community to build the applications they want and need, every day. Also, as a Software Engineering Intern, you will participate in the expansion of our cutting-edge content management system Sitefinity used by clients such as World Health Organization, Virgin, Fujitsu, and many more.

If selected, you will be working in the following areas: the .NET family - Blazor, ASP.NET Core MVC, ASP.NET core Web and JavaScript stack (Angular, HTML and CSS). Furthermore, you'll collaborate with other teams and roles such as Product Management, Product Marketing, UI/ UX Designers and more.

Please note this 6-month intern position offers flexible work hours once the university year starts and a hybrid work model (onsite and work from home). The Internship program will start on July 1st.

Who are we looking for?

Someone currently pursuing a bachelor's/ master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field or a self-taught software engineering student
Good knowledge of OOP, data structures and algorithms
Programming knowledge in C# and JavaScript
Very good analytical and problem-solving skills
Very good written and spoken English
Previous technical internship, online courses and/or holding certifications would be an advantage

What will you do?

Research and understand the competitive landscape
Implement new functionality following the latest design principles
Write clean, maintainable and readable code, according to the best coding standards
Participate in code reviews and quality checks
Participate in documenting the ready software product
Write different types of tests
Be part of a scrum team and take part in planning, review and retrospective sessions
