Job Description

As a Software Engineering Lead at Patterned Learning AI, you will build full-stack cloud-based software systems using Typescript/React/Node. You'll provide technical leadership, upskill colleagues through code reviews and collaboration, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment. This remote-first role requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with others on solving complex problems, ensuring code quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses 7-10+ years of experience in a similar role. Location flexibility is offered with an option to work from the NYC office 1-2 times a week.

Must have:

7-10+ years full-stack development experience (Typescript/React/Node)
Technical leadership & upskilling colleagues
High-quality, end-to-end ownership of work
Strong attention to detail & communication
Bachelors in CS, Math, Engineering, or equivalent

Good to have:

This is a remote position.

TSoftware Engineering Lead

A little about you:

Have 7-10+ years of experience building full-stack cloud-based software systems in a Typescript/React/Node environment

Experienced in providing technical leadership and upskilling your colleagues through code reviews, collaborative development, and technical discussions

Ship high-quality, complete work that you own end-to-end in a fast-paced, B2B SaaS environment

Possess strong attention to detail, ensuring that it doesn’t just work, it works well

Have great communication skills; you work well with others, and you care more about solving the problem than coming up with the best solution yourself

Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or have an equivalent combination of education and work experience

Are (or can be) located in or around the New York area, with the ability and desire to work in our office (near Lincoln Center) at least 1-2x per week
