We are looking for a Unity Technical Lead with a strong business orientation to join our product team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in game development, with extensive hands-on experience in Unity. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen to drive the development of innovative and commercially successful LLM-driven tool.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in game development, with a strong focus on Unity.
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of game design, development processes, and technical constraints.
  • Expertise in C# and Unity scripting.
  • Proficiency in architecture and infrastructure planning and implementation.
  • Deep understanding of the Unity under the hood.
  • Experience with performance profiling, optimization, and debugging.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects from concept to completion.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).

Main task pool:

  • Consult the technical development of our LLM-based projects related to the Unity Field, ensuring high quality and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align technical development with business objectives.
  • Mentor and guide a team of LLM developers about the Unity specific and details, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and Unity advancements to keep the team at the cutting edge of game development.
  • Prepare hypothesis and use-cases regarding Unity-related projects
  • Analyze and report on project performance, making data-driven decisions to enhance efficiency and outcomes.

Will be a plus:

  • Experience with other game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine).
  • Knowledge of VR/AR development.
  • Experience in multiplayer game development.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing and online services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Background in AI and machine learning as applied to game development.
  • Published titles demonstrating technical prowess and creativity.
  • Understanding of mobile and console game development.
  • Advanced mathematics or physics knowledge applicable to game development.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation.
