What will you do in SuperPlay?

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Unity Technical Lead to join our talented team. As a Unity Technical Lead, you will be responsible for guiding our development team in creating high-quality games using Unity. You will provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, and ensure the efficient delivery of projects from concept to release. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the technical vision and ensuring the robustness and scalability of our game architectures.

  • Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Unity developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment.
  • Project Management: Oversee the technical aspects of game development projects, ensuring timelines, milestones, and quality standards are met.
  • Architecture and Design: Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient game architectures. Ensure best practices in code quality, performance, and reusability.
  • Development: Write, review, and optimize code. Develop core gameplay systems, features, and tools within Unity.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges, optimizing performance across various devices and platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, artists, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of game components and a cohesive user experience.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies. Drive the adoption of new techniques and workflows to improve productivity and game quality.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, coding standards, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Unity development and C# programming. At least 3 years of experience working on well-known mobile or AAA game titles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in C# and Unity's ecosystem. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in a technical leadership role, managing and mentoring development teams.
  • Project Management: Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Debugging and Optimization: Excellent profiling, debugging, and optimization skills.
  • Scrum Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Scrum methodologies, planning, and estimation techniques.
