As the Vice President of Client Service, you will be a key leader responsible for driving revenue growth and fostering strong, long-term relationships with strategic clients. You will lead a team focused on understanding client business objectives, delivering exceptional service, and identifying opportunities to expand our engagement. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in client management, sales, and team leadership within the IT consulting industry. You will be responsible for managing and growing client accounts with an annual revenue target in the range of $8 million to $12 million. Responsibilities include client relationship management, revenue generation, team leadership, and ensuring operational excellence. You will serve as the executive-level point of contact, develop and execute strategic account plans, identify new opportunities, and lead team development and management. You will also ensure successful project delivery and monitor client satisfaction.
Must have:
  • 10+ years of experience in client management/sales in IT consulting.
  • Proven success in managing and growing client accounts.
  • Strong understanding of IT consulting services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field is required.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems.
Good to have:
  • Experience with firms like Accenture, Wipro, Capgemini, TCS.
  • An advanced degree is a plus.

As the Vice President of Client Service, you will be a key leader responsible for driving revenue growth and fostering strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of strategic clients. You will lead a team focused on understanding client business objectives, delivering exceptional service, and identifying opportunities to expand our engagement. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in client management, sales, and team leadership within the IT consulting industry. You will be directly responsible for managing and growing client accounts with an annual revenue target in the range of $8 million to $12 million. 

Responsibilities: 

Client Relationship Management:  
Serve as the executive-level point of contact for key clients, building trust and rapport at all levels. 

Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our footprint within client organizations. 

Proactively understand client business challenges, strategic priorities, and IT landscapes to identify how our services can provide solutions and value. 

Orchestrate and lead regular client meetings, including executive business reviews, to ensure alignment and satisfaction. 

Act as an advocate for client needs within the organization, ensuring seamless delivery and responsiveness. 

Revenue Generation and Growth:  
Take ownership of the $8M - $12M annual revenue target for your assigned client portfolio. 

Identify and pursue new opportunities for service expansion and upselling within existing accounts. 

Lead the development and presentation of proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and other sales-related documentation. 

Collaborate closely with sales, delivery, and other internal teams to develop compelling solutions that meet client needs. 

Accurately forecast revenue and provide regular updates to senior leadership. 

Team Leadership and Development:  
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of client service managers and/or account managers. 

Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews. 

Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture focused on client success.    

Identify training and development needs within the team to enhance their skills and capabilities. 

Operational Excellence:  
Ensure the successful delivery of projects and services to clients within your portfolio, collaborating closely with delivery teams. 

Monitor client satisfaction and implement strategies to continuously improve service quality. 

Manage contract negotiations and ensure adherence to contractual obligations. 

Utilize CRM and other tools to track client interactions, opportunities, and revenue. 

Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and threats. 

Qualifications: 
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.    

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in client management and/or sales within the IT consulting industry (experience with firms like Accenture, Wipro, Capgemini, TCS, etc., is highly desirable). 

Demonstrated success in managing and growing client accounts with annual revenue targets in the $8M - $12M range. 

Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level executives. 

Strong understanding of IT consulting services, including areas such as digital transformation, cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity, and application development. 

Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 

Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities. 

Experience leading and developing high-performing teams. 

Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365). 

Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients. 

Information Security Responsibilities

    • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
    • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
    • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
    • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
