AWP Safety is a national safety services provider that is America’s Traffic Control Leader, serving major public utilities in electric, gas, and telecommunications. The company offers work zone flagging, transportation management plan design and engineering, equipment sales, rental, and 24/7 support. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for physical labor tasks at the local warehouse, including handling and receiving inventory from freight forwarders. You will manage Will-Call Coordination, track orders being pulled, finalize orders for customers, and handle walk-in requests for products not on the store floor. Responsibilities include restocking shelves, accepting and processing incoming orders, packing orders, counting inventory, and ensuring timely shipment of orders.

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • High School Diploma/GED

Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate, you are responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor at our local warehouse. You will handle and receive inventory from freight forwarders. Handle Will-Call Coordination such as keeping track of orders being pulled and finalizing orders before going out to customers. Warehouse Associate will handle any walk-in request from the store for products that are not available on the store floor. Associate will handle pulling orders and putting away backstock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Restocking shelves
  • Accepting incoming orders
  • Processing and packing orders
  • Counting inventory
  • Ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have the ability to pass a Drug Test and Background Check
  • Must have the ability lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must have a High School Diploma/GED

The hiring range for this position is $19-20 per hour. The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
