Job Description

The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for various material handling functions, including accurate stocking, counting, moving, and issuing parts and supplies. This role involves interacting with multiple departments (Purchasing, Production, Product Repair) to manage parts availability and order status. The Associate will also process orders, create shipping documentation (labels, bills of lading), handle customer returns, pick and pack orders, and restock shelves. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a team player, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 250 pounds with assistance.

Job Overview
Responsible for a variety of material functions including the accurate stocking, counting, moving and issuing of parts and supplies to production and service departments.  Must be self-motivated, a strong team player, and enjoy working in a fun fast paced growth environment.
Responsibilities 
  • Enters, reviews and processes service and sales orders
  • Interfaces with Purchasing, Production and Product Repair groups to obtain parts availability information
  • Provides information regarding parts availability, order status and tracking to internal and external customers
  • Creates labels, bills of lading and other shipping documentation
  • Works with customers to issue return authorizations
  • Picks and packs parts for customer orders
  • Restocks shelves, moves inventory within warehouse and processes transactions using handheld scanner
 
Skills/Requirements 
  • On time, dependable, positive with a strong work ethic
  • Minimum 2-years technical customer service, order processing, parts counter or related work experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills; interacts effectively and works productively with a wide range of people
  • Computer proficiency, accurate data entry and good math skills
  • Experience counting, receiving, stocking and shipping parts and supplies
  • High school diploma or GED required
 
Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally push and/or pull up to 250 pounds with or without assistance. Work is primarily conducted indoors, in a non-climate-controlled environment.
