The Accountant II will manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, payment processing, account reconciliation, and follow-up collections. They will handle customer inquiries, resolve payment discrepancies, and oversee accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. Additionally, the role involves maintaining financial records, supporting month-end close activities, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors, supporting audit and compliance efforts, and assisting with year-end reporting tasks. The Accountant will adhere to company policies and support established business practices.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 2-3 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Knowledgeable regarding SOX and interactions with external auditors.
  • Ability to execute in a dynamic and demanding environment.
Good to have:
  • Previous experience working in a high growth company environment preferred.
  • Demonstrate initiative, work well under pressure, detail oriented.

Envestnet is seeking an Accountant II to join our Yodlee department. This is a hybrid role, with in-office work required at our Raleigh, NC office location.

Job Summary: 

  • Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, payment processing, account reconciliation, and follow-up collections.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies to maintain positive client relationships.
  • Oversee accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end close activities, including reporting and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address inquiries and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Support audit and compliance efforts, including preparation of SOX documentation and audit requests.
  • Issue 1099s and assist with related year-end reporting tasks. Assist in ad hoc projects in relation to month-end, quarter-end, or year-end processes and procedures
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. 
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 2-3 years of Accounts Receivable experience
  • Knowledgeable regarding SOX and interactions with external auditors.
  • Previous experience working in a high growth company environment preferred
  • Ability to execute in a dynamic and demanding environment by demonstrating organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrate initiative, work well under pressure, highly detail oriented, self-motivated with the ability to follow through and implement process improvement.
  • Have a high degree of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office software tools, excellent technology, analytical, and communication skills with emphasis on professional business writing skills.
