Job Description

This position supports the business planning team by managing sales forecasting and reporting for the North American Aftermarket. Responsibilities include managing sales actuals, forecast, and budget processes; working with sales to create demand projections, supply chain to factor in constraints, and finance team to factor in net components. The role involves measuring and improving forecast accuracy, providing ad hoc reporting using PowerBI and Microsoft Excel, and acting as a subject matter expert on data tools. Additionally, it supports miscellaneous sales administration tasks as needed.
Must have:
  • 2+ years experience with excel completing data analytics
  • 2+ years experience in Automotive Aftermarket
  • 2+ years forecasting or business planning preferred
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or other data analysis tools

Job purpose

This position will support the business planning team by owning sales forecasting and reporting for the North American Aftermarket.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sales actuals, forecast, and budget process. Involves working with sales to create demand projections, supply chain to factor in constraints, and finance team to factor in net components (rebates, returns, other)
  • Measure and work with sales team to improve forecast accuracy
  • Ad Hoc reporting using PowerBI and Microsoft Excel to gather and present data to leadership, finance, sales, sales administration/customer service, supply chain and category teams
  • Be subject matter expert on data tools for North American Aftermarket (AMI, local tools) and help to create and improve current tools
  • Support with miscellaneous sales administration tasks as needed (processing invoices, salesforce improvement projects, maintaining QMS documentation, etc.)

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or other field preferred
  • 2+ years experience with excel completing data analytics such as Vlookup, Pivot Table, and other formulas/functions
  • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or other data analysis tools preferred  
  • 2+ years experience in Automotive Aftermarket
  • 2+ years forecasting or business planning preferred
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Great work ethic with excellent organizational skills
  • Dependable; regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to multi-task
