Job Description

An Assembler I is responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product according to customer specifications. The role involves securing and maintaining correct component parts and supplies. Key responsibilities include setting up work areas, assembling parts according to instructions and quality standards, operating hand tools, stacking completed products, ensuring a safe and organized work environment, completing equipment inspection checklists, maintaining production records, checking materials and finished products for compliance, participating in safety and CI programs, and performing other assigned duties.
Must have:

Job Details

Job Summary Assembler I is responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product according to the customer's specifications. Secures and maintains correct component parts and supplies required for the operation. Principle Duties and Responsibilities
  • Completes work area setup
  • Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and in accordance with quality standards
  • Operates hand tools as required to complete the assembly process
  • Stacks completed products in accordance with established procedures, and if required, may cover, label, and band components finished product
  • Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate
  • Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
  • Maintains production records as required
  • Checks materials and finished products to ensure they are compliant with standards
  • Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards
  • Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
  • No minimum experience is required however, 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred
  • Working knowledge of basic math
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
Benefits and Pay
  • Pay Range:

    Starting pay $15 - $17 per hour based on work experience.

    Bonus:

    For hourly positions with incentive pay:  Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, and employee referral bonuses.  A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.

    Eligible for production bonus after 60 days, if achieved.
