Associate Creative Director

WongDoody is looking for an Associate Creative Director (ACD), based out of our beautiful New York City Studio, to help drive growth and creative excellence for us and our clients. With a team of strategists, creatives, designers and production practitioners, you’ll be pitching and developing integrated campaigns, digital experiences and design driven projects across a broad spectrum of brands. 
 
You are a boots-on-the-ground contributor with your team and you have a strong portfolio across delivery channels and client verticals. You inspire and motivate your teams and colleagues to do their best work. You are an experienced presenter, comfortable in front of senior-level clients, leading client meetings through all stages of work from pitch to creative development through production with your exceptional conceptual skills. This position requires you to navigate being a creator, maker and a manager. You will actively contribute to the work while leading teams with love and compassion with a strong desire to elevate the work by elevating those around you. This role reports directly to the ECD, North America. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Be a creative thinker and driver of pitches, ideating and delivering best in class creative work across a broad spectrum of brands 
• A creative collaborator for existing clients 
• Mentor and guide teams from ideation to the final product to ensure quality and style meet WongDoody’s standards and exceed client’s strategies and objectives
• Recognize the creative opportunity with any client or industry to help tackle client goals and challenge and maximizing business opportunities
• Successfully produce work across all mediums and platforms 
• Lead teams through creative concept phase and guide the work to maintain integrity through production 
• Manage creative teams, reviewing and providing clear feedback on work and guiding their career development 
• Guiding the work with a strong eye toward thoughtful design and animation language, laddering up to brand tone and consistenc

WHAT YOU’VE GOT 

• You are an established and industry-respected creative with 10+ years of experience that can equally boast both award-winning and globally recognized work
• Prior experience creating effective, breakthrough work in a digital agency, production company, innovation driven creative business. Read: You are not traditional
• Proven skills that include the ability to lead, grow, mentor, and motivate a team with diverse perspectives. With a people-first mindset you are a natural mentor who continues to contribute alongside the teams you lead
• Proven client relationship building skills  
• Experienced to collaborate with production early on to make sure your ideas can be brought to life
