Job Description

The Associate Homologation Engineer is responsible for planning and executing test schedules and type approval applications to meet Taiwan's vehicle regulatory requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of Taiwan's vehicle regulations at both vehicle and component levels (MOTC/VSCC, EPA, BoE/ITRI, BSMI, and UNECE). Responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and submitting documents to type approval authorities, tracking schedules, managing time effectively, developing and improving homologation workflows, and maintaining confidentiality. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills (fluent in English), work well independently and collaboratively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong time management skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential.

What to Expect

This position is responsible for planning and executing test schedules and type approval applications to meet Taiwan vehicle regulatory requirements and fulfill different homologation projects.

This role requires clear understanding of Taiwan vehicle regulatory requirements at both vehicle and component levels to comply with various authorities’ regulations.

It also requires great communications to discuss and identify regulatory requirements with various type approval authorities and collaborate within engineering team and different departments to move projects to completion.

What You’ll Do

Understand MOTC/VSCC, EPA, BoE/ITRI, BSMI as well as UNECE regulations and track their applicability to our vehicle in Taiwan.

· Prepare, review, submit, and follow up on a high volume of documents to type approval authorities

· Track schedules, prioritize, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines

· Develop, implement, and continuously improve homologation workflow

· Uphold strict confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information

· Maintain flexibility to provide additional support as requested

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or vehicle related degree.

· Excellent communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English.

· Works well independently and collaboratively.

· Have a sense of urgency and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent time management skills and ability to work well under pressure.

· Fluent with common MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

· Innovative, open-minded, collaborative, and a team-oriented attitude.
