Responsibilities include developing and enhancing applications, managing cutting-edge technologies, integrating front-end elements, developing APIs and data pipelines, and collaborating with a cross-functional team. The candidate will be responsible for managing individual priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. The role also requires documenting changes and participating in knowledge-sharing sessions. The candidate should be able to learn other coding languages as needed.
Must have:
- Experience with backend development (0-2 years).
- Experience with database design and management.
- Working knowledge in Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka Redis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.

Position Overview:
ShyftLabs is looking for a Backend developer to join our IT team. If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you. As a Back-end developer at ShyftLabs, you’ll work closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for product development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Develop and enhance existing applications as per product requirements.
- Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications.
- Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Develop and maintain APIs and data processing pipelines that integrate with various internal and external systems.
- Manage individual priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Work with a small cross-functional team of engineers, PMs, data engineers, and designers.
- Help the team in documenting changes made in different artifacts.
- Help team members in the knowledge-sharing session.
- Ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on high-performance and scalable systems.
- Experience with database design and management, particularly with large-scale databases.
- Working knowledge in the following tech stacks: Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka Redis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
