About the Role 

The Audience & Network Team is looking for a Channel Manager. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of several YouTube channels, spanning a few key priority brands. Channel Managers develop and execute on strategy to grow YouTube channels, devising appropriate content, promotional and partnership activity needed to achieve that growth. The role requires developing expertise in WildBrain’s catalogue and content verticals and performing constant competitive analysis, to identify how WildBrain can improve its channels. Training will be provided.

Job Description

  • Create and program YouTube channels.
  • YouTube viewership analysis, using our multiple analytic tools.
  • Provide information to guide programming, marketing, and investment decisions.
  • Ensure channels adhere to YouTube best practices.
  • Optimise titles, descriptions, and other metadata.
  • Design and create bespoke video thumbnails that catch the eye.
  • Write and edit metadata and copy for videos and channels.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on channel growth to partners.
  • Keep up to date with YouTube platform developments, trends, and training.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in using Adobe suite (particularly Photoshop and Premiere).
  • Familiarity with the YouTube platform or another comparable platform.
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation and able to work flexibly in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • An analytical approach and good communication skills
  • Creativity and a sense of curiosity.
  • A motivated attitude with a strong desire to learn, grow and succeed
