Job Description

As a Clinical Application Specialist for Philips Image Guided Therapy systems, you will provide clinical expertise through presentations, demonstrations, and training. You will assist sales staff and prepare clinical specifications for customer applications. Your role involves supporting Account Managers, developing clinical sales strategies, participating in evaluations and demonstrations, educating the sales team, supporting product launches, conducting customer training, and ensuring compliance with quality policies. You will also be responsible for reporting customer feedback and staying up-to-date with developments in the field. You will be traveling within Denmark and Nordic countries. This role focuses on providing clinical expertise and support to promote Philips Image Guided Therapy systems.
Must have:
  • University or bachelor's degree in a relevant health discipline
  • In-depth knowledge of Angio systems and clinical segments
  • 5+ years experience in clinical applications/cath lab
  • Experience working in cath labs
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Ability to apply problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English and local language
Good to have:
  • Teaching experience in a clinical environment

Job Description

As a Clinical Application Specialist of Philips Image Guided Therapy systems (angiography systems) you will provide clinical expertise through pre-sales presentations, product demonstrations, application training and handing over of company products. You will assist the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product clinical specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions.

Your role:

  • Supporting Account Managers by providing clinical decision support for products and solutions, including sales presentations and product demonstrations. Support and advise the sales force during customer acquisition.

  • Developing and executing effective clinical sales strategies to expand market share.

  • Actively participating with the sales team in coordinating and executing clinical evaluations, product demonstrations and presentations.

  • Educating the sales team on emerging clinical issues and positioning solutions to address these market changes. Staying up-to-date with new developments in the clinical application and operational field of the relevant equipment.

  • Supporting new product launches.

  • Conducting customer training.

  • Setting up application training schedules in close cooperation with the customer. Training customers in applying the best possible clinical procedures and protocols to achieve optimal usage.

  • Responsible for delivering customized, competency-based training material packs when required.

  • Supporting user group meetings when required.

  • Conducting regular visits to customers to obtain direct feedback regarding the quality of training delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Supporting and advising the sales force during acquisition.

  • Staying "on track" with new developments in the clinical application and operational field of the relevant equipment.

  • Being aware of and managing the safety standards required by the company, including radiation protection, health, and safety regulations. In the event of hazards or accidents, taking immediate control of the situation and involving the safety advisor from the regional office.

  • Ensuring that all clinical applications training, with both new and existing customers, complies with the company's quality policy.

  • Responsible for reporting customer feedback according to the applicable quality standard policy and following up on relevant assigned quality and regulatory training in a timely manner.

You're the right fit if you have the following skills and experience:

  • University or bachelor's degree in a relevant allied health discipline.

  • In-depth knowledge of Angio systems, with proficiency in one of the clinical segments such as Interventional Radiology and/or Interventional Cardiology.

  • Preferably a minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical applications and working in a cath lab.

  • Experience working in cath labs.

  • A people person who enjoys engaging with customers.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Excellent teamwork skills.

  • Ability to apply problem-solving, critical thinking and priority-setting skills.

  • Fluency in speaking, understanding, and writing English, in addition to the local language.

  • Teaching experience in a clinical environment is preferred.

  • Travel required within Denmark and Nordic countries.
