Job Description

This role requires a senior Cloud Native Developer with at least 7 years of full-stack development experience to contribute to a major platform rebuild. Responsibilities include developing microservices using Pivotal Cloud Foundry, acting as a subject matter expert in Cloud Native, Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD, and actively participating in cloud native development and standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, containerization, and TDD, along with proficiency in Java 11+, Spring Boot, and related technologies. The role involves documenting requirements, code, and reports throughout the software development lifecycle.

Must have:

7+ years full-stack experience
Strong Cloud Native knowledge

Good to have:

Experience with Agile/Scrum

Project description

We are looking for a talented Cloud Native developer proficient with building microservices on the back of Pivotal Cloud Foundry. We are looking at someone with strong experience in this area. The person would be a part of an experienced and established team working on a major rebuild of our platform.

Responsibilities

Develop software components with Microservices-based Architecture. Subject matter expert in Cloud Native, Agile, DevOps and CI/CD to all levels of management and project teams. Develop and delivery of Cloud Native Application Development. Participate and contribute actively in cloud native development and standards. Document requirements, codes and prepare reports in the software development lifecycle.

Skills

Must have

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

At least 7 years of working experience in full-stack software development.

Strong knowledge of Cloud Native principles and techniques such as Microservices-based architecture/development, RESTful API development, container-based software deployment, Test Driven Developemnt, Strong Unit and integration testing skill, Spring Boot.

Well versed in software system engineering principles and technologies (e.g. Agile, SCRUM, Pair Programming)

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure

Strong technical hands-on experience in Java 11+/Microservices apps with frameworks and libraries such as Spring, Hibernate, J2EE, JDBC, JMS, JMX, JUnit, GitLab, Mockito & WireMock, Rabbit MQ/Kafa messaging and Spring Cloud Stream framework.

Possess critical thinking skills, combined with the ability to present clearly both verbally and in written form, Independent, motivated, reliable and organized.

A team player with strong communication skill in English

Nice to have

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.

Self-starter who can work independently.
