This role involves troubleshooting technical issues for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) customers, requiring expertise in debugging, networking, system administration, and coding/scripting. The Cloud Technical Solutions Engineering Manager will improve GCP products, tools, processes, and documentation to enhance user adoption. Responsibilities include managing customer issues, diagnosing problems, implementing new investigation tools, acting as a technical consultant, advocating for customer needs across internal teams, and working collaboratively within a global 24/7 support team. This requires strong communication skills (Mandarin and English are mandatory, Japanese is preferred) and experience with cloud solutions, system integrations, and Google Cloud architecture. A deep understanding of Linux/Unix, container architecture (Kubernetes, GKE), and serverless technologies (Cloud Run, App Engine) is essential.
