Job Description
The role involves creating and implementing publishing contracts in the EDDY contract software, advising and supporting departments in drafting copyright agreements, reviewing contracts (especially those in foreign languages), corresponding with authors, agencies, and national and international publishing partners, handling rights returns, and maintaining and managing the digital contract archive. The position requires a structured, independent, and precise working style with a high degree of team orientation.
Must have:
- Completed commercial training or studies, ideally with a legal background
- At least three years of professional experience in copyright law, contract law, or commercial law
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Very good German and English skills both written and spoken

Job Details

- Erstellung und Umsetzung von Verlagsverträgen in der Vertragssoftware EDDY
- Beratung und Unterstützung der Fachabteilungen bei der Erstellung von Urheberverträgen
- Vertragsprüfung, insbesondere fremdsprachiger Verträge
- Korrespondenz mit Autor:innen, Agenturen und nationalen sowie internationalen Verlagspartnern
- Bearbeitung von Rechterückgaben
- Pflege und Verwaltung des digitalen Vertragsarchivs
Dein Know-how ist gefragt
- Abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung oder Studium, idealerweise mit juristischem Bezug
- Mindestens drei Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich Urheberrecht, Vertragsrecht oder Handelsrecht
- Strukturierte, eigenständige und präzise Arbeitsweise mit hoher Teamorientierung
- Sicherer Umgang mit Microsoft Office
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Wünschenswert: Kenntnisse im Digitalmarkt sowie im Bereich Künstliche Intelligenz
