This role involves developing and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance custom silicon assembly and test manufacturing efficiency, yield, and product quality at Google. Responsibilities include utilizing statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to analyze large semiconductor production datasets, identifying trends, and predicting potential issues. You will create automated data pipelines and dashboards to monitor KPIs and provide real-time insights. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial for gathering data requirements, developing analysis strategies, and effectively communicating findings. The ideal candidate possesses experience in program management, scripting languages (Python), data visualization, and building automated data pipelines. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and testing is preferred.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years program management experience
  • Experience with Python scripting for data analysis and automation
  • Data visualization and automated data pipeline experience
  • Statistical analysis and machine learning knowledge
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing and testing
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, or Product Engineering
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and applications in manufacturing
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining methods
  • Excellent communication skills

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data analysis and automation, and experience with data visualization tools and techniques and building and maintaining automated data pipelines.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing and testing.
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, or Product Engineering related industries.
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
