Job Description

This internship involves working with the People Analytics team to design and implement new studies, analyze data, and report research findings to a business audience. The role requires communicating findings and recommendations to influence leaders, writing research briefs, and conducting statistical analyses (correlation, regression, factor analysis, T-tests, ANOVA) using survey and archival data in R. The ideal candidate is a PhD student in a relevant field (I/O Psychology, Organizational Behavior, etc.) with experience in research design, data analysis (R, SPSS, STATA), and statistical methods. Familiarity with advanced statistical approaches (factor analysis, network analysis, HLM, SEM) and SQL/scripting is preferred. The internship is full-time for 12 weeks outside of university term time, and the salary range is $92,000-$109,000.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Personality Psychology, Social Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience designing, developing, and conducting survey or experimental research.
  • Experience analyzing and manipulating data in R, SPSS, STATA, or other statistical languages.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Currently attending a degree program in the US and available to work full time for 12 weeks outside of university term time.
  • Experience conducting applied research in organizations.
  • Topical experience in one of the following areas: performance management, individual and team-level performance and productivity, individual difference (e.g., personality traits, behaviors, well-being), DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), selection and assessment (including relevant psychometric methods), decision science and behavior change, or quantitative text analysis.
  • Experience with statistical analyses, including fundamentals (e.g., ANOVAs or regressions) and with one or more advanced approaches (e.g., factor analysis, network analysis, HLM, SEM).
  • Experience using R for statistical analysis and data visualization.
  • Experience in SQL or other scripting languages and experience with future proofing code to be long lasting (e.g. detailed documentation).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $92,000-$109,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.
