We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Middle Business Intelligence/Data Analyst to join our team in Lviv!

About the job:

What You’ll Get to Do:

• Conduct thorough database testing to ensure data integrity, reliability, and accuracy across various systems.
• Investigate and resolve system errors or discrepancies through a mix of manual analysis and technical tools.
• Regularly monitor logs and dashboards to identify trends, anomalies, or recurring issues. Proactively work to prevent potential problems through early detection and mitigation strategies.
• Analyze data sets to draw meaningful conclusions, identifying trends and patterns in complex data.
• Develop and execute testing scripts for data and software applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and project managers to understand product requirements and design appropriate tests. Develop scripts (e.g., Python, SQL) to automate error detection and enhance operational workflows.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Manage defect tracking in Jira, report issues to development teams, and ensure resolution and validation, including root cause analysis.
• Create and provide regular reports to stakeholders on results, issue trends, and resolution statuses.
• Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, data quality, and overall effectiveness of BI/DA processes. Develop and maintain comprehensive testing and system workflow documentation, as well as troubleshooting guides, ensuring consistency and adherence to industry best practices.

What You Need to Know:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
• A passion for data and its ability to create value.
• Proven experience in data analysis.
• Experience in quality assurance with a focus on data testing and monitoring, including results improvement.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, SQL, or equivalent); hands-on experience is a plus.
• Experience with Postman.
• Familiarity with log analysis tools (e.g., Kibana, Elasticsearch) or other monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of databases and large-scale data systems.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns and diagnose complex system issues.
• Innovative in proposing solutions to optimize workflows and prevent recurring problems.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using Jira for defect tracking and issue resolution.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to think abstractly beyond basic data requirements.
• A proactive and results-driven approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• At least Upper-Intermediate spoken and written English.
• A minimum of 2 years in a similar role or a relevant position in a related field.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with system architecture or API integrations.
• Experience with process automation tools or data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Additional hands-on experience with Postman.
