Trendyol seeks Data Science Professionals specializing in LLMs and core NLP to champion a data-driven culture. Responsibilities include driving solutions from multilingual free-text data, exploring cutting-edge NLP approaches, conducting exploratory data analysis, applying machine learning/deep learning to solve business problems, identifying data-driven business solutions, and communicating findings to stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of experience with foundational NLP concepts, state-of-the-art architectures, SQL, Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. Experience with search, recommendation, or content moderation is preferred, along with strong communication skills. The role involves working with stakeholders to leverage company data and translate findings into actionable business strategies.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Your Main Responsibilities
- Being champion of a data-driven culture and working to create advocates
- Drive solutions from free-text data in multiple languages
- Explore cutting-edge approaches and toolkits for solving NLP problems
- Work on exploratory data analysis so you can navigate a dataset and come out with broad conclusions based on initial appraisals
- Proven ability to relate and solve business problems through machine learning and deep learning in particular
- Experience in applying various machine learning techniques and understanding the key parameters that affect their performance
- Experience diving into data to consider hidden patterns and conducting error analysis
- Having a curious mind and love to ask (and answer) "impossible" questions
- Work with stakeholders throughout the organisation to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
- Synthesize methodology and data into actionable business strategy and communicate findings to engineering and management teams as driving business impact
Qualities We Are Looking For
- The experience range for this position is suitable for specialist/senior specialist and lead roles
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics
- Experience with building NLP solutions on one or more of the following fields; search, recommendation, catalog/content moderation
- 3+ years of experience preferred working with foundational NLP concepts and state-of-the-art NLP architectures
- Ability to track latest developments on NLP literature and apply them accordingly to e-commerce business problems
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch and result-oriented attitude
- Extensive background in data mining and statistical analysis expressing data-driven thinking skill
- Can-do approach to come up with innovative and practical solutions in data preprocessing, cleaning, automatic label generation works
- Research and development skills on deep learning products for mobile commerce and ad-tech
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with mobile commerce or self-service business models is a big plus

We offer a hybrid model that combines the productivity of remote work with the bonding and collaboration of in-office work. Teams are expected to work from our offices on designated days each week, fostering team spirit, creativity and cross team collaboration as part of our culture.
We also provide a summer working model, with a two-month fully remote work opportunity during July and August.
The hybrid working model only applies to hybrid roles; on-site roles require regular office presence.
