Who We Are
Game Production Solutions (GPS) is a new division in Creative Technologies at Electronic Arts. In the GPS group, we build solutions for our customers (Game Teams / Creators). We empower game creators to make an outsized impact with our technology.
Your Work With Us
Within GPS, we are building technology platforms that will help some of the biggest and most successful studios in EA to grow their build systems onto the cloud all while reducing the engineering load required to do so. You will report to the Senior Development Director, and you will program manage the effort to ensure these game teams are able to adopt the technology. As a senior program lead within GPS, you will help us define the processes we need to ensure predictability in our delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Create, manage, and execute project roadmaps for assigned responsibilities ranging from the development of cloud-based products and solutions to plans for adoption, integration, migration and support.
- Work with disciplinary leadership to understand their goals, ensuring the project roadmap, granular feature strategies, and development plans accomplish their needs while following larger project goals.
- You will manage one or more direct reports in your area of assigned responsibility.
- You will also have a passion and empathy for solving people's problems and building happy, motivated teams.
- You will foster a culture of diversity to empower teams by encouraging an inclusive environment where all opinions are heard.
Qualifications:
- You have 5 or more years shipping game as a Development Director or in a Senior Production role.
- Experience presenting to senior level team members.
- You are familiar with Agile/Scrum, and you have experience in project planning, capacity planning, dependency and risk management including mitigation techniques.
- You have experience with project management tools such as Jira/JaaS..
- Experience using project management metrics to set development process success goals.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
Bonus Points:
- You are knowledgeable about CI/CD and software testing methodologies.
- Experience working with distributed teams
BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.
EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $133,400 - $193,200 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
