The Disney Television Animation Studio Planning & Operations Intern will support the Studio Operations and Artist Management teams. Responsibilities include partnering with Environment and Events to plan and execute studio initiatives (culture building, events), supporting onsite activities, designing graphics, and assisting Artist Management with project coordination (craft group curriculum, learning initiatives, mentoring programs). The intern will gain insights into animation, business, and technology, attend studio events, and contribute to a positive studio environment. This is a paid internship running from June to December 2025 in Glendale, CA.

About the Role & Program

Join us for the opportunity to intern with Disney Television Animation Studios! Become part of the Disney Difference by bringing your exceptional work ethic, teamwork and analytic skills to the Disney Branded Television/TV Animation Studio Planning team where you will help deliver the magic of creating an ideal studio environment for hundreds of creative artists.

DTVA’s Artist Management team works to help create a positive environment that fosters the growth of employees and the overall well-being of studio culture.

The approximate dates for this internship are June 2025 through December 2025. If selected for this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Environment & Events and the Arist Manager at Disney Television Animation. A cover letter indicating your interest in the Disney Television Animation Studios Planning & Operations Intern, Summer/Fall 2025 position is required.  

What You Will Do

Support Studio Operations

  • Partner with Environment and Events to ideate, plan and execute all studio initiatives (example: culture building, onsite events & etc.)

  • Support onsite activities and events from set up to break down

  • Design and create graphics packages for assigned initiatives

Support Artist Management

  • Partner with Artist Management to project coordinate initiatives such as: craft group curriculum building, learning initiatives and mentoring programs

Experience Life at Disney Television Animation Studios

  • Learn about the art, business and technology of animation

  • Attend crew screenings and other studio events

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proactive problem-solving skills with a customer service lens

  • Strong research and communication skills

  • High level of curiosity and commitment to learning

  • Ability to work with diverse teams

  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven success delivering in fast-paced creative environment

  • Experience with design software (photoshop and adobe illustrator)

  • Interest in Animation or TV/Film Production

Education

  • Junior or Senior year preferred

  • Major in Communications, Marketing or related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: 

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

  • The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 through December 2025

  • Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm PT for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week

  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Glendale, CA area

  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
