Job Description

The job involves market research for selected commodities, mainly turned and machined parts. It includes developing and supporting global supplier/part family strategies, mentoring suppliers, and acting as the central point of contact for suppliers and commodities within the plant functions and the global purchasing organization. The role requires self-reliant management of daily and strategic activities to ensure quality, cost, and timely delivery. Responsibilities also involve planning, executing, and closing annual price negotiations and contract management, along with capacity management at suppliers and cost structure analysis. Furthermore, it includes preparing supplier selections, managing the RFQ process, evaluating suppliers, participating in awarding decisions, supply chain risk management, and using SAP and various automation tools. The role also requires business acumen for export-related business partner communication and handling global sourcing inquiries.
Must have:
  • Market research for selected commodities.
  • Develop and support global supplier/part family strategy.
  • Manage supplier relationships.
  • Manage daily and strategic activities to ensure quality and cost.
  • Plan and execute annual price negotiations.
Good to have:
  • Know-how for CF/BP procedure.
  • Good knowhow of SAP and various automation tools.
  • Business acumen for export-related business.

  • Prepare supplier selection - includes RFQ process, supplier evaluation, Preparation, execution, communication, participation and implementation of awarding decisions.
  • Supply chain risk management & business acumen
  • Supplier evaluation, Know-how for CF/BP procedure
  • Good knowhow of SAP ,RfQ process & various automation tools.
  • Business acumen for Export related Business partner communication & Handling Global sourcing inquiries.
