The Practice Access Manager (PAM) is responsible for a portfolio of BlinkRx business, focusing on key accounts such as physician practices and clinics within a specific territory. The role involves onboarding new providers, increasing adoption of the platform, and protecting revenue by reducing churn. The PAM will engage in both in-person and virtual interactions to educate clinical staff, optimize workflows, and expand the volume of prescriptions processed through BlinkRx. Key responsibilities include territory planning, provider onboarding, account expansion, retention and reactivation efforts, relationship management, market intelligence gathering, and collaboration with internal teams.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of field sales or account management experience
  • 2+ years of experience selling into physician practices
  • Understanding of specialty drug distribution
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship skills
  • CRM discipline (Salesforce preferred) and data-driven decision-making
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field

Role Summary:

The Practice Access Manager (PAM) serves a book of BlinkRx business consisting of key accounts (physician practices and clinics) within a territory. Your mission is to onboard new providers, deepen adoption, and protect revenue by mitigating churn. You’ll combine in‑person visits with virtual touch-points to educate clinical staff, optimize workflows, and expand the volume and breadth of prescriptions flowing through BlinkRx.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Territory Planning: Develop and execute strategic territory plans to meet quarterly revenue, prescription volume, and account growth goals.
  • Provider Onboarding: Conduct onsite and virtual education sessions for prescribers and staff, integrating BlinkRx into daily prescribing workflows.
  • Account Expansion: Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities—additional drug classes, departments, or clinic locations—and drive incremental prescriptions.
  • Retention & Reactivation: Monitor account health signals; proactively address service issues, educate on new features, and win back lapsed providers.
  • Relationship Management: Build trusted advisor status with providers, office managers, nurses, and billing teams.
  • Market Intelligence: Collect and relay competitive insights and product feedback to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & reporting: Partner with Provider Development Reps, Provider Success, and Hub Operations; maintain accurate notes and tasks in Salesforce.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of field sales or account management experience
  • 2+ years of experience selling into physician practices
  • Understanding of specialty drug distribution, prior authorization, and patient assistance workflows
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota through consultative, value‑based selling
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
  • CRM discipline (Salesforce preferred) and data‑driven decision‑making
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field
  • Must be based in San Antonio, TX with a willingness to travel ~50% within territory. Valid driver’s license required.
