Job Description

As a Field Sales Manager at Google Cloud, you'll drive market success and adoption of Google Cloud Platform solutions. Responsibilities include leading go-to-market propositions, building customer relationships, collaborating with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Engineering), working with Google Account and Partner teams to develop pipelines, and contributing to marketing collateral improvements. You'll work towards business goals, building a strong customer pipeline. The role requires leading and managing a team, influencing direction, and acting as a trusted advisor to customers on utilizing Google's infrastructure. Regular reviews ensure alignment with portfolio expectations.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in technology-related sales or business development at a Business-to-Business (B2B) software company.
  • 5 years of experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience managing and leading a team.
  • Experience driving growth of cloud technologies in organizations across a given territory or industry segment.
  • Experience working with and managing cross-functional partners in implementation projects and negotiations.
  • Ability to manage business and commercial models while leading organizational transformations and delivering on results.

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the market success of Google Cloud Platform and for the adoption of our business-relevant and pure-cloud solutions. You will impact business metrics, including business growth attainment, shorter business cycles, bigger business sizes, new logo acquisition through knowledge, teamwork and programmatic engagement. You will work with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Product Strategists to define and achieve strategic goals. You will leverage knowledge of our offerings to become a trusted advisor to companies on how they can utilize Google’s core infrastructure to launch new business units and ideas. You will also be responsible for regular reviews to ensure alignment and delivery to portfolio expectations.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement go-to-market propositions in a given business sector, and work with Marketing, Demand Management, Solutions, Product, and Engineering teams to produce a focused proposition.
  • Build and maintain relationships to influence direction. Act as an advisor to the customer.
  • Work with Google Account teams to develop/drive pipeline and provide guidance. Work with Google Cloud Platform Partners to develop campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Marketing resource to provide input on current collateral materials and ideas on how to improve them to maximize Google Cloud Platform in a given team.
  • Work towards business goals and build a pipeline of customers.
