Job Description
Game District seeks a skilled Financial Analyst to analyze financial data, provide insights, and contribute to informed decision-making. Responsibilities include consolidating and analyzing financial data (budgets, forecasts, etc.), providing cost-reduction and performance improvement recommendations, developing financial models, conducting benchmarking and process analysis, identifying trends, advising the company, and consulting with management on strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial concepts, and experience with financial forecasting, diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis. Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software is required.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join Game District. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing financial data, providing insights, and contributing to informed decision-making within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a solid understanding of financial concepts, and a proven track record of delivering accurate and insightful analysis.

- Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc.) taking into account the company’s goals and financial standing
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
- Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
- Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
- Conduct business studies on past, future, and comparative performance and develop forecast models
- Identify trends, advise the company, and recommend actions
- Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
- Consult with management to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope
- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications
- Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
- Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills
- Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis
- Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments
- bachelor's in Finance
- Experience: 3-4 years
